Led by our Children’s Director, Allison Earhart, our FUMC Littles group is growing and going. We have monthly events for parents with children ages 0-5 years. Our goal is to provide parents with a space to develop community with other growing families.
1st Sunday of the Month | 9 am
Children First is a unique worship service that occurs on the first Sunday of every month for families of all ages. We follow a traditional order of worship including affirmations of faith, holy communion, offering, a scripture lesson, prayers, and group singing; all centered around a common theme for the month. We gather for worship from 0 am – 9:45am in the Sanctuary. Please join us!
Children First | Accessible to children | Meaningful for adults
- The foundation of our Sunday school classes is to nurture children and offer them knowledge, skills, and values to grow into adult followers of Jesus Christ.
- Kindergartens meet on the first floor in Hines Hall. 1st-6th graders meet upstairs in the children’s wing .
This program is for students grades K-6. We would love for them to join us on Wednesday evenings, 6-7:30 pm.
Masks are required and we will be spread out in the choir room. From 6-7 pm we will be learning about our Children First topic for the upcoming month and how to lead worship. From 7-7:30 pm we will have some fun and games.

Once a month we have an activity just for our 5th and 6th graders. This is a time of fellowship, fun, and usually snacks.
Senior High Room
Anyone who has read the Bible has had questions. Our Sunday school hour will be a time to read a Bible passage, make observations, and ask questions. Then we’ll spend time researching–all before 11 am! We can’t wait to see what we learn and help get the gospel into the hands of our students! Right now, we are in the Gospel of Mark.
On Sunday evenings, our youth are invited into the main youth space, where we will have our youth kitchen open for our “snack supper” from 4-4:30 and then an activity/lesson from 4:30-5:30 pm. The structure for our time together will be social justice driven based on the curriculum released by the United Methodist General Board of Church and Society. This curriculum follows the lectionary passages and helps students flesh out what they can do to “be the church” in our community. If you’d like to follow along with what we’re learning, you can click here. At least once per quarter, we will give students the opportunities to do a service project during this time – putting their faith in action.
Meet at Church Parking Lot
Mountain Biking is back! If you enjoy mountain biking, make sure to meet with this group led by Kevin Wilson and August Martin on Tuesdays at 6 pm. It’ll be a great time to be active and connect with other students! All you’ll need is your bike and helmet.
Worship in the Youth Center
6-6:30 pm ; 7th Grade – Adult
After a BYODinner fellowship time in Hines Hall from 5-6 pm, we are excited to offer youth-led worship during our Wednesday Night Life. We hope to provide a way for our students to serve the church creatively that blesses the whole community. Before we break off into our classes, choir practices, and small groups, we want to unite our hearts by centering our evening on prayer and inviting the presence of God in a very intentional way.
Following worship, we will meet in “Life Groups,” based on John Wesley’s idea of a “class meeting.” We will use “The Class Meeting” book by Kevin M. Watson to guide our initial weeks of conversation. The idea will be to give youth a space to discuss where they see God throughout the week and help them continue developing the mindset that God is always with them. It’s a tough world out there – we want our students to know that they are not alone. Students will be split up into Junior and Senior High groups to allow for meaningful and age-appropriate conversation.
