Ever find yourself in an awful situation, something you barely think you have the strength to survive? And then ever have ANOTHER awful thing happen to you? As we look at this stretch of Revelation, we will dive into times when things just seem to keep getting worse and worse. How do we find hope in those times?

Family ministries


Refuge Retreat for Grades 7-9 Nov 8-10
Youth grades 7-9 are invited to enjoy a weekend retreat put on by the Arkansas Conference Council on Youth Ministry (ACCYM) where they can connect to other Arkansas United Methodist Youth. This retreat will provide a beautiful setting in the great outdoors where youth are encouraged to engage with Christ through times of worship and build connection with each other.

FUMC Kids Meet-Up

K-6th graders are invited to join us for pumpkin painting, snacks and fellowship this Sunday from 2:30-4 in Hines Hall!

This year, we are hosting Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 30th from 6-7:30. If you are interested in hosting a trunk, click here to sign up.

Interfaith Peace Dialogue 
Come to the Interfaith Peace Dialogue this Monday 23 September 2024 at 6:30p. This will be a panel discussion featuring religious leaders from some of the religious traditions represented in our diverse community. This meeting will take place at First Christian Church of Bentonville, 807 SE 14TH ST. 

Rev. Dr. T. Ray Wheeler will serve as moderator for this conversation.

Altrusa of Bentonville Spaghetti Dinner
Altrusa International of Bentonville/Bella Vista will have its yearly spaghetti dinner fundraiser at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Bella Vista on Thursday, September 26. Dine-in is from 5-7 p.m. and pick-up from 4-7 p.m. Adult servings cost $12 and Children 10 and under are $6.

New Sunday School Class
A new intergenerational Sunday school class has formed focusing on studying the Bible. The class meets in Room 217 at 10 am Sundays. All are welcome to join!

Are You a Musician? Want to play for the church sometime?

Save Your Bottlecaps!
Art and Faith are working on an art project and they need your bottlecaps! Save them from soda and disposable water bottles (though we do encourage you to use a refillable water bottle) and bring them to put in the collection points at church (office and coffee hour area). Let's make something beautiful out of our trash!

Koinonia Fellowship Lunch/Open House
Monday, September 23 from 11:30a-12:30p in the Gathering Room.

 
Women of Bentonville FUMC, the Koinonia Women’s Group is reaching out to you. We meet monthly for lunch, learning, fellowship, and mission. Please join us as we make new friends, learn new things, and reach into the community for mission projects. Bring your own lunch and drink; desserts and water will be provided.
