Office Hours Reminder
Just a reminder that the church office is officially open Monday - Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Toni will be out for a few weeks for medical treatment, and we cannot guarantee coverage beyond those hours. If you need to meet someone on staff outside of those hours, please contact the staff member and make arrangements.
All Are Welcome Guide!
We now have an All Are Welcome Guide available as a hard copy or online at our website at this link. We ask that you please take only one guide per family so we have plenty to share with those who come to visit our church.
This Sunday – Celebration of UMCOR
This coming Sunday in the United Methodist Church is a celebration of United Methodist Council on Relief or UMCOR. UMCOR is one of the most effective relief organizations going. Anytime there is a natural disaster, war, or any event which puts humans in difficult circumstance; representatives of UMCOR will be on the ground. This Sunday we will ask all our members to give a special offering earmarked for UMCOR. Use the pull-down menu and select UMCOR if you give through the Venmo app or label an offering envelope with UMCOR and we will donate those funds to help UMCOR. Thank you for your generosity!
Office Closed Week of Spring Break
Due to continued staff shortages, the church office will be closed the week of Spring Break, March 18-22. Meetings and gatherings taking place at the church will still occur, and some staff will be available periodically to meet that week, but please contact the staff member you need directly to check availability.
Family ministries
Ozark Mission Project - Youth Mission Trip
This summer, June 9-14, we are planning to participate with Ozark Mission Project in Conway, Arkansas. During this week-long experience our students and adult chaperones will build relationships by participating in meaningful work projects that promote team-building and skill development. These projects include anything from building wheelchair ramps to porch construction.
All current 6-12th grade students and their parents are invited to attend an informational meeting with OMP program director Jules Anderson this Sunday, March 10 from 4-5:30pm in the youth room, to find out what OMP is all about. We hope you will join us!
Eggstravaganza
Join us on Palm Sunday at 10am to celebrate all things Easter! We will have crafts, a treat, petting zoo, and an Egg Hunt for all kids up through 5th grade. We are also collecting candy and eggs in bins around the church for use that morning.

Second Street Pantry Diaper Drive
Did you know that 1 out of 2 U.S. families experience a lack of sufficient diapers to keep their baby dry, clean, and healthy? Families often cut back on other necessities or have to keep kids home from daycare because of diaper needs. Second Street Pantry is privileged to partner with The Diaper Collective of Northwest Arkansas to offer diapers to our clients once a month. You can help make a difference for these families in our community by donating to our annual diaper drive. Now through March 11th, you can drop diapers in the collection bin by the church office. Thank you for helping keep babies clean, dry, and healthy!
Learn More About Hosting Students for Ozark Mission Project | Sunday, March 10
In addition to our youth's work in Conway this summer, mentioned in an announcement above, FUMC will host The Church of the Resurrection's team as they come to serve Northwest Arkansas. We need adults who are willing willing to help with logistics like meals and hospitality for COR's group. To learn about these opportunities, come to Hines Hall during the Sunday school hour (10 a.m.) on Sunday, March 10.
Welcome Home for those New to our Community
On the third Sunday of every month from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. we host an informal lunch gathering for all of those who are interested in learning more about our church. We alternate between hosting these at the church or at someone's home. This month's gathering on March 17 will be at the church in the Gathering Room (120).
